On June 7th and 8th, the 2nd Regeneration of Cities Congress took place in Łódź, Poland, and our GreenerAge and its societal impact was presented by Raúl Castaño-Rosa from TAU.

The Regeneration of Cities Congress is an opportunity for a universal debate on the problems related to the regeneration of cities and the role of society in the process, the importance of cultural and industrial heritage as a revitalisation resource, and on what to change in the social, economic, and principally spatial system of cities.

Social regeneration of cities can help mitigate climate change impacts, but it requires of citizens’ engagement and participation without leaving anyone behind. GreenerAge aims to address this issue by positively informing, engaging and empowering adults 55+ to take positive action towards climate change and reduced environmental impact in their everyday lives, as part of the green transition.
