On 27 October the City of Budapest District 13 held the 3rd International Conference as part of its SMARTX!!! including the Smart District Concept and SMART13 Action Plan and the presentation of leading smart city programmes in Europe, notably an excellent case from Australia and Newcastle, to establish an international partnership with the participating programmes and cities for smart city development.

Carina Dantas from SHINE 2Europe attended the Conference and presented the GreenerAge project – Climate Change and Environmental Literacy for Urban Citizens 55+ as a successful example of the Erasmus+ programme that is promoting citizen empowerment and literacy.
