On the 4th of October, AFEdemy – Academy on Age-Friendly Environments in Europe BV , the Dutch partners from GreenerAge, conducted an in-person workshop with two experts. Together, they thoroughly reviewed all project outcomes, including the learning platform, the compendium, and the trainer manual. The expert group acknowledged the significant potential inherent in our project results. However, they underscored the necessity for more specific information and links to local initiatives to enhance their applicability in the Netherlands. Additionally, they recognized that the platform and compendium could prove exceptionally valuable for energy coaches who assist homeowners in improving insulation. These professionals can utilize GreenerAge project results to demonstrate opportunities and examples. The experts also commended the design of the project results, finding them visually appealing and user-friendly.

In addition to the in-person participants, AFEdemy welcomed six online participants who primarily explored the platform. Their feedback was generally positive, with the belief that the platform has the potential to raise awareness of sustainability issues. Nevertheless, some online participants provided comments regarding the platform’s technical aspects, with the aim of making it more user-friendly for individuals aged 55 and above.
